Princess Bride: 25th Anniversary Edition [Blu-ray]

This superb movie from 1987 is getting a Blu Ray release in the US of A (no release date at tme of posting) There's a vote going on over at facebook where you can vote for the art that will be used (I chose the red cover) It's ace to see so many great 80s movies getting a new lease of life on blu and this is one of the best from probably the best year of the 80s for movies. (It has to be noted that this is a re-release that has all the old Blu and dvd extras as well as a new 2 part doc called 'TRUE LOVE: THE PRINCESS BRIDE PHENOMENON' Thanks to my buddy John for the reminder that this already had a blu ray release)

Wildcats (1986)

I watched this on dvd today and really enjoy it again. Goldie Hawn looking great and very funny. I had seen it many times since my days as a kid. While not the best movie ever made? It's very typical 80s feelgood that will make you smile and laugh and feel like you just scoffed some nice comfort food.
